Join Karen and Tricia for 90 minutes of Restorative Yoga and Reiki.

Restorative Yoga is a practice of stillness and silence. It is a passive practice with limited, mild stretching and extended time resting in propped poses. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutically designed practice that can assist in the reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression while additionally helping with chronic pain reduction.

With the support of bolsters, blocks, and blankets, you will gently position yourself into varying restorative postures that allow muscular tension to release at a deeper level. You’ll trust and release in the support of the props and melt into Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) and Ashunya (the non – empty state of self-awareness), allowing a state of calm, peace, healing, and deep relaxation.

Reiki is an energetic practice that brings the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies back into a state of peace and balance, restoring the energy normally present in oneself. The practitioner acts as a conduit for the energy around us and funnels in fresh energy, bringing your chakras into balance. You are fully clothed and the practitioner’s hands hover above your chakras.

Come join us as we combine these two practices to Release, Reset, and Renew!

In each class, we will focus on one chakra, with poses designed to stimulate and bring energy to the targeted region.
