The Troy Now Initiative is holding a series of public engagement sessions to share the City’s plan to invest federal emergency stimulus funds under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to build a new foundation for Troy’s economic recovery.

The purpose of the ARPA is to support cities in their response to and recovery from the COVID-19 public health emergency.

Mayor Patrick Madden will begin these sessions with an overview of the specific projects that have been earmarked and authorized by the City Council and the Administration, such as the Knickerbacker Pool, Taylor Apartments and North Central Community Center.

The engagement sessions will elaborate on the types of projects the City is seeking to fund and how members of the public can submit proposals and suggestions.

Each meeting will conclude with a Question and Answer session

This facebook event is for the Wednesday, March 30, 6 p.m. ARPA Meeting at Brown’s Revolution Hall, 425 River St.
