Come join LAB at the Oakwood Community Center as we seed funding for our exciting program to bring leadership skills and grassroots participation to the City of Troy’s comprehensive planning process!
The Troy Fellows Project will assist in the revitalization of Troy’s neighborhoods through directly engaging neighborhood leaders in the community planning process, strengthening connections and developing the skills needed to make positive change. LAB will also help fellows apply these skills to current projects in their neighborhoods.
Our goal is to not only to impact Troy’s comprehensive plan, but to enhance existing neighborhood structures and leadership. Up to 10 fellows will participate in the 12 week training program.
Homemade refreshments will be provided and there will be a silent auction along with some sweet tunes.
We believe that neighborhood problems need neighborhood-based solutions.
