Albany Proper is joining local community members, activists, businesses, and organizations as we come together to uplift our communities which have been plagued with gun violence. Let’s celebrate the lives of those lost while calling attention to the oppressive systems that fail to allow the community to flourish and heal.
Meet up for the event will take place at Swinburne Park in Albany. We will come together in solidarity marching throughout the streets of Albany calling for an end to the violence. We will march throughout uptown, head down Central Ave., and continue until we end at Grand Street.
Please wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and follow all required CDC health guidelines.
